The game of Omaha Hi is a really lucrative way to make money if you understand how to play well. Another good way to think about Omaha Hi is like this: if there is a possible hand that can beat you, and there were more than 2 people that played the flop, there is a good chance someone has that hand. If there are 3 cards of the same suit showing on the board, over 50% of the time someone will have the flush. The same is true for a straight.

Another hand you need to get away from is if you have made 3 of a kind with a pair showing on the board. There is a good chance that someone will have the full house. Also, if you have a flush and there is a full house possible, you need to be careful because it is likely for your opponent to have the full house. Basically, do not bluff in this game until you get comfortable reading all of the unique situations.

If you have good cards, you can really make a lot of money in Omaha Hi. It is a good idea to try and let other people bet for you and you can just call with your monster hands. Until the end of course when you can raise and force them to call an extra bet at the end. If you are playing Omaha Hi Limit poker, you can check raise, or raise every street and you will most likely get called. Just make sure your opponent does not make his hand. If you are playing no limit or pot limit, you should only raise double the bet if you want your opponent to call you.

Basically, do not bluff. You can make enough money in this game playing your big hands and maximizing the profit. Furthermore, if you chase down a lot of draws, it might work in the short run, but in the end you will lose money.
